Here at EstreetLoans.com we wanted to do something different today to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day and also to take your mind off the chaos from the world; so enjoy your fun guide for today’s festivities :)

St. Patrick’s day, or St. Paddy’s Day, is the national holiday of Ireland, but is also celebrated here in the United States. There are many events associated with St. Patrick’s Day, like dressing in green and eating all things Irish, but there are many more things you can do on this festive holiday. Here are some tips on how to have a great St. Patrick’s Day.

Go green. I don’t mean go green as in become an environmentalist, but literally go green. Although the original color of St. Patrick’s Day is blue, the green comes from the shamrocks that the Irish would wear.

You can go around wearing green clothes, green socks, green accessories, and if you’re really up for it, you can dye your hair green or paint your body green. For this holiday, the more green you are, the better.

Another way to celebrate this festive holiday is to eat everything and anything that Irish people love. The main one has to be beer. You can go to a bar and drink beer and hang out with people. However, please do drink responsibly as drinking too much alcohol can be toxic to your body. You can try Irish cuisine by eating the Irish staple, potatoes, in every single way possible too.

If you don’t feel like eating or drinking anything, you can play some games with your friends. One popular game is finding the “treasure at the end of the rainbow”. This game is basically a scavenger hunt and the treasure at the end of the rainbow is simply the prize at the end. Although it’s really simple, it’s fun when playing with a multitude of people.

When in doubt, you can always watch the parades that occur on St. Patrick’s Day. Parades are a lot of fun, and you can meet a lot of people and get to make some new friends.

Of course, spending your St. Patrick’s Day isn’t limited to these things, but if you aren’t sure what to do, you can do the things listed above and your day will be like a “pot of gold”; filled with happiness.
